During his speech, Vice Chancellor Prof. Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Ab Hamid highlighted why UTS should be the top choice for Sarawakians. He emphasized the university’s state-of-the-art facilities and its steadfast commitment to creating exceptional student experiences. Additionally, he promoted various financial aid options available to Sarawakian students, thereby enhancing accessibility and affordability in higher education.

 

The delegates were given a tour around the campus and introduced to research products developed by the lecturers and students. During the lunch session, Chairwoman of Persatuan Wanita UTS, Datin Dayang Mariani Abang Zain, introduced Wanita UTS as the organization empowering women through educational and welfare activities. The lunch session was further enlivened with performances of songs and dances by Wanita UTS, Wanita PBB, our talented staff Mr. Sulaiman Azman, and young violist Mr. Imran Azim.

 

The visit concluded with a group photography session joined by UTS Chairman, Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapaee.
