As one of the most popular Christmas songs goes ‘Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year’. Christmas is always associated with the season of sharing and giving – it is one of the happiest days of the year where children receive gifts from their parents, grandparents, and relatives. It is one way of saying that they are important and loved, but this widely celebrated festival can be a challenging one for children who do not have the support of family.

 

This magical season is the best time for our members and UTS staff to share our good fortune and uphold the value of sharing to the less fortunate children. Hence, this community outreach project by Persatuan Wanita UTS aims to provide a gift to each child at the Methodist Children’s Home in Sibu.

 

This project is in collaboration with the UTS Campus Fellowship Club’s *“A Gift Of Love, Christmas At The Methodist Children Home”* event. This collaboration will help to spread the goodness of bringing joy and smiles to the children and at the same time, making Christmas a little brighter and merrier for them through the act of giving and sharing.
