The inaugural annual assembly of Persatuan Wanita UTS took place on 1st March 2023, at Lecture Theatre A. The event commenced with an address by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Ab. Hamid followed by a succinct introduction to the organization. Elections were also held to establish the inaugural committee.

In addition, as a brief overview, Persatuan Wanita UTS was founded by YBhg. Datin Dayang Mariani Abang Zain with the aim of serving as a representative organization for female staff and staff wives. It was established as a consultative body to advocate for the interests of its members. During the event, attendees were encouraged to contribute suggestions for future activities and events in an open forum session.
